I am trying to paste the Recycled logo (the arrows pointing around in a circle) into a .pdf file from a .pdf file and when I try to move it to where I want it, it moves each part of each arrow seperately instead of moving the entire image all together. I know the source .pdf image was created as a single image but that doesn't keep it from coming apart in tiles when I move it.

I've got acrobat 5.0 on a PC. maybe that's my problem

please advise.

I broke down and called Adobe support. They gave me a workaround so I am considering my question answered.

I've seen this, but have always been able to select a region and export the entire "collection" of image fragments, by drawing a "marquee" around the image.

Basically doing a click and copy is not enough in this case (i'm working with an unusually small image). Using the "Touch up Object" tool I draw a box around the image enclosing all of its parts (as described in the previous post) and then do a ctrl-c to copy and ctrl-v to paste to the destination doc (where it usually places the image in an inconvenient spot) and then click and drag the image to where I need it.

simple, but frustrating when you're doin it wrong.
