image maps are the spawn of satan

i am trying to map an image and have copied out out various texts from books,webspages etc... and am still having no luck in successfuly mapping the image - does anybody out there know of any tips to help me do this or any known fall over points that i am currently 'falling over'! it seems so simple but i just cant seem to pull it off!

First I would recommend you download an imagemapping program from
There are many there that are trial versions that can help you right now. Also you could check for their image map program.

Once you have one of these then your question becomes easy, just use the program. Trying to map out an image by hand requires that you write down each and every coordinate by hand from your paint program and then write them into your code. Why go through all of that when there are programs that simply do it for you. Give one of them a try.

ive got a program - and got the correct code but on entering the correct coords - it still doesnt work - im tearing my hair out!!
