When I display/print image in Crystal it looks OK, when I do it in Crystal Active Viewer (web) it makes all the black letters in it bold and ugly. Please Help. Thanks

Please post your version information, and how are these WEB reports being called, using CE, RAS, or?

Could be a font issue, printer driver, etc.

Try changing those and have a look.

Thanks, version is 8.5. I use Crystal Viewer, which comes boundled with other CRM software.

I do not understand why font settings would affect image. I wonder if background should be set to transparent.

It is a company logo.

I bounced into what I believe is the same issue with my Visual CUT and DataLink Viewer software. The problem and the solution involve some registry keys.

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Try doing a test report with a short sentence or set of numbers, repeated in a number of different fonts. Use everything you have. Then see how it looks in Crystal Active Viewer.

I don't publish stuff to the web, but it works for screen and printer, where there are often marked differences. And different printers can get different results.
