Image link only functions with www in url

[webscripter]

I'm on a win98 box and I have my website on a unix server.
This is peculiar. Can someone check and tell me if it's not found on the second link.

Image is found

I see the same image each time. I don't see any DNS problems either, which was my first concern.

It shows in Netscape, so I guess I have a bug in IE.
