HI,

had used it earlier and unable to recall the steps.

Want to put image on Text i.e.

Will type on one layer Text i.e. A name

and on that name will apply the graphic from the other layer or external file.

Want to know How to do the above?

Thanks,

Lad

I would do it like this:
Write your text in one layer.
Apply Your image in a layer, above the layer that contains your text.
Now hold down the key “Alt Gr” while you slowly moves the courser over the line that separates the 2 layers in the Layers-window.

When the courser changes from a hand to a funny looking arrow, then click. (Funny looking...hmmm)
The line that separates the 2 layers will become dashed an the image will be applied to your text.

Funny loo...whatever

You can also select the text and the "paste into" the image into the text, the one above looks like a better solution though.

Yep! just tried it - learnt something else today, cool. Cheers KBBJ roda B-)

Learning is like rowing against the current. As soon as you stop, you start going backwards.

I didn’t knew the function “Paste into” either. Well Cheers Roda ;-)

You could also apply the text as a layer mask on the image layer.
