Image in a Data Grid

gs: I did a quick search using "Image DataGrid" here at Tek-tips -- I think this thread may get you there, or at least a good portion of the way:

Also, this problem as you might well guess, will be a fundamental one -- and so you KNOW the answer is out there somewhere -- the reason I mention this is because a question of this nature begs for a robust academic search on the web, say, starting here at Tek-Tips using the Search routine (lots of discussions over the last 2 years) -- and then visiting (you might bookmark) some of the more popular sites for dot NET developers.
There are a few threads here which actually list by link the "best" places to go; you might even search that out.
If I were facing this problem I think I could have the solution in 30 mins by carrying out a good, clean, logical search in a few of the better web sites. Check out the above thread, perhaps test it. If you come up empty in your search, post back.
If you find an eloquent discussion of the problem, post back and share with us the line.
Of course, if someone here at Tek-Tips has the solution ready at hand, no doubt they will drop by and post it here.
