I'm working on a web publication in Publisher 2007 (I know it's inefficient, but it is on request), and publishing the document to the web as a filtered web page. I'm running into a minor issues involving graphic elements and photos in the page, and could use some advice.

1) The images I use show up in the logs as people access the site, which is fine. However, the filenames are unrelated to the pages on which they reside. Is there some way to overwrite the default name choices?

2) Even through I've only used the image on one page, there are two versions in the index_files directory, one calls itself image337.jpg and the other is image 3371.jpg. Why the duplication?

3) I used some shapes in the design of the page, and overlaid them to get the custom elements I needed. Is there some way to save the grouping out as a single image, or do I just need to recreate the element in a more mainstream program?

Thanks!

I don't use Publisher for web projects so I can't answer 1 or 2. As for 3, yes, you can group items and/or save that group as a .jpg.
