I'm thinking of putting an image carousel on my website and with every image click i'd get a full page refresh.

Does anybody know if this would add to my page impressions in google analytics? i.e add to the count?

Thanks in advance,
Harry

I HATE those pages that reload the whole page just so I can see a different photo of something or someone. That in itself cuts down on MY page views at the site.

Why would you care how it affects page counts in Google Analytics? It doesn't really matter.

Tactics like this are done to refresh ads in sidebars and kick up your ad impressions. There really isn't much to do about Google Analytics. Page impressions in site reports are not all that useful if you are trying to track user behavior.
