image background

I'm creating an image which I'm exporting for use on my website. But when I use the imageon my website, the background to the image is always grey. How do I get the background to be white (or any other colour for that matter?)

Where are you exporting the image from?

From a Flash document. I'm creating a new flash document, and then drawing my image, then exporting it.

The image will usually be exported with the default Flash background colour in transparent areas. Maybe try putting the white background you want as a filled rectangle on a layer below you rmain image and then export?

I still end up with a grey outline around the rectangle.

Maybe you're exporting the entire stage area? If so try just exporting the minimum image size (you should be able to toggle between the two in the options).
