I have an early iMac (original Bondi blue, rev b). It appears from its symptoms that the power supply has gone out. This is the second iMac this has happened to, and last time I bought a used but working power supply for it on ebay.
Unfortunately I really screwed up taking the first one apart, breaking off a couple of the plastic tabs that hold it together, etc. Eventually I gave up on the project.
This time, though, I want to do it right. Do any of you know of a good description/diagram for taking the iMac apart (including removing the motherboard) and putting it back together again correctly? Either a website or a decent book? The only references I've found are about adding RAM but I need to take it apart further than that to get to the power supply.
Thanks in advance.
