I'm using Backup Exec 8.50 on Windo

I'm using Backup Exec 8.50 on Windows 2000 Server.
From time to time backup restarts machine, with no message in Job Monitor, no message in event log.
He make a file in F:\BackupExec\OpenFilesOption named OTMsnapshot.otm.
I had to delete that file and start the job again and in most cases that is the solution, except if he failed again.
Any ideas...

I have the exact same problem. When a backup is running on the local drive, all of a sudden the server will completely reboot. I thought it may be a hardware problem, our server is a Dell poweredge 2550 with a dat dds4 tape. What hardware are you running?
