IM options with Exchange 2003

I searched the forum and found very little discussion on this topic.

The company I work for is very dependand on Inter-office IM. Right now we use MSN Messenger, but I have no way of controling this applications. I've been asked to find a solution.

I dont need anything elaborate. I would like to keep it internal, but then have the flexibitlty to use it externally with other IM clients. I need tracking abilities too.

any suggestions would be great. I am looking at Live Comm Server now, but would like to research a few others.

I would try the wildfire IM server it is free

and use the Neosmt Client also free

http://www.neosmt.com/eng/index.php

also has single logon with windows authentication
