im new with linux, how to share file from linux to mswindows

hi!

im new with redhat linux

i already shared internet connection from linux to mswindows
now, how can i share files from linux server to mswindows client

any inputs will appreciate, thanks in advance

Samba is the linux version of windows file sharing. Once you setup both your pcs on the same workgroup (configured in network settings for Windows and in the samba configuration file for Linux), you will be able to browse to your linux computer using the network neighborhood in windows. Linux has a similar feature in Gnome (probably kde also, but I don't know).

Also don't forget to use SWAT, the Samba Web Administration Tool (I think that's what it stands for). SWAT will make configuring Samba a lot easier.
