I'm new to Access. I am creating a database for some jokes I've written and in one field I have the name of the joke and the next I have the content of the joke as a "memo" -- but the problem is it doesn't seem to preserve the formatting after I past it into a field and I need it to. Any suggestions?

Another option is to save HTML markup text in the field and view it in a web browser control.

I am using Access 2003 so I guess Landon's ActiveX application is the only solution. But I don't really want to do that. Is that the only solution? And after installing it successfully, I'm not even sure how to implement it.

Maybe I'll need to upgrade to 2007.
