I'm inserting a text file into a web page with the <object> tag.
It works, but I can't figure out how to format the linked text file.
Would like to change font size, color, etc.

Tried a bunch of things but no success.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I already researched this on google and
w3schools, but can't find answers.
Thanks in advance, people.

You can't. The contents of the object tag are displayed as is. While you can affect the object element itself, such as its background and border, the actual data content of the "object" element cannot be formatted outside of any format it itself contains.

If its a straight text file, then it will just be raw text.

If you need to give it format, then you'll need to turn the file into something that can hold format information. A .txt file is by definition formatless raw text.

thanks Vacunita
I tried an rtf file but didn't work.
I guess I'll try to put html tags in the embedded file and see what happens.
Have a good one.
