I'm having ringing trouble with 2 Magix that are networked together. This is the first networked setup I've installed. The Magix are networked with 100DCD cards over a point to point T1. Magix A (UDP 500's) has 2 LS lines going into a Calling Group and the Merlin Messaging card setup with 2 AA's, one for outside calls to Magix A & one for outside calls to Magix B. Magix B (UDP 600's) has 2 LS lines going into a Calling Group which is then sent to a non-local UDP over the T1 into the Messaging on Magix A. So now here’s the problem….. When calling into a LS line on Magix B you get the correct AA, but when you dial any 6xx ext the AA says “transferring call…….” and the caller doesn’t hear any ringing but the ext does ring. If someone answers the ext everything works OK. But if nobody answers the ext and the caller hangs up, the ext keeps ringing forever until someone picks up the handset but hears nothing. If you call into the AA from any ext on Magix A or B, dial any 6xx ext everything works ok, the caller hears the ringing, the ext called rings, and disconnects if the caller hangs up. When calling into a LS line on Magix A you get the correct AA, dial any 5xx ext the AA says “transferring call…….” and everything works OK. It seems to only happen when outside calls are routed over the T1 line. LS disconnect is ON on Magix A & B. Everything else works ok between the 2 systems. There must be some setting that I’m missing…. Thanks for the help…. This site is the BEST!!!!!
