Im confused

I downloaded vbscript edition 5.5 from microsoft, and all i can see that has been installed is windows scripting host 5.5 documentation.

Is this right, or should i see other programs in my start menu.

I am presuming that it only installs the engine in the background,

Simply run a vbs with one single line below:

WScript.Echo WScript.Name & " " & WScript.Version
