Ilo cannot login from server name

When attemping to login to some Ilo cards on our network using the name entered in dns. I am getting the problem where i am getting to the login page but after entering user an password. It just takes u back to login screen.
This does work fine when connecting to the ip address.
Just to confirm it's nothing to do with name resolution I enter the server name into my loacl hosts file.
Which makes no differance.
Has anyone seen this ?. Or any idea's.

P.s. I have also updated the firmware to the lastest ver.

I know there is an issue if the server name has an _.

i.e. Server_name won't work but ServerName will

Have you given the iLO the same name as your name in DNS? There is an option under DNS settings (I think) to specify the iLO DNS name and I guess this has to match what you are putting in DNS.

What type of server is it in?

Looks like its the underscore in the name only seems to affect "Remote lights out edition II" boards.
Newer ones seem fine.
