I have just installed Illustrator 10.0 (FULL) after having tryed the TRY-version.

The program lanuches as expected but my toolbar looks like this: , something missing isn't there?

I have tryed to re-install 3-4 times, but there is no change.

I haven't got version 10 yet but... I wonder if some of the tools may be just hidden in an effort by Adobe to tidy up the interface a bit? Certainly any tool with a small arrow in the bottom left corner can be held down to reveal more tools. Just a thought!

my toolbar is missing stuff too! I couldn't see the linked pic, but on mine i'm missing the paintbrush!!!

Every time illustrator loads i get error about missing plugins: ScatterBrushTool.aip and ArtOnPath.aip....HELP!

I figured it out! Go to your Documents and Settings folder and there is an AI folder in there. Delete it then start AI and it will work!!!

Where can I find the "Documents and Settings" folder? I am using Win 98se and the computer I am using was working fine with Illustrator, and then it just started saying "Plug-in ERROR..." I would appreciate any guidance on this subject.

Robin, well done I have been trying to fix this problem for
a week now and could not do it until now.[2thumbsup]

MICHAZOL ...
I no longer run Win98SE, but I believe Documents and settings folder is ...
My Computer>C:\>Documents and settings

Hey I have the same problem my scatter brush tool and artonpath plug-ins are not running. I have tried robin's suggestion, but it failed to work. Cananyone help me out on this

Thanks Robin, you helped a brother out!!! Keep up the good work!
Thanks Again

HERE'S ROBINS FIX A LITTLE MORE DETAILED. IT WORKS LIKE A CHAMP. Open windows explorer - open documents and settings -open your user folder (i.e.- MIKE)- Open the Application Data folder - open the Adobe folder and delete the Illustrator 10 folder. Now try and run Illustrator 10. It worked for me.

THANKS ROBIN

Thanx Quiettime for your more detailed version of Robinb111's message!!
It works out perfectly!! wow!

Thanks for both of you! :)

I'm having the same problem with the scatterbrush tool and the artonpath tool.. when i open illustrator 10.0 it says "error loading plug ins". I tried Robin's method but I am using Windows NT so I could not locate the AI folder under documents and settings.. I'm not sure how to solve the problem using NT, but any help would greatly be appreciated.
