I need Illustrator to do wedding invitations and a couple of other small projects. I want to get as inexpensive of a version as possible--preferably less than $150. What is the difference between the CS2 Programs (definitely too expensive) and something like Illustrator 9.0 or Illustrator 10.0? Are Illustrator 9.0 or 10.0 still viable programs that would work fine for basic design projects? I would work with a printer for invitations, in case that makes any difference vs. printing at home.
