Illustrator CS5 Pie Chart error message 1

After I plug in my values for the Illustrator CS5 pie chart (titles top row, numbers next row), I get the message, "Can't create the graph. There must be at least one number to graph.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

...ensure data entered are numerical without strange characters.

Yes, I did - good call! Of course it took me about 2 hours to make that assessment, but I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I'm usually better at the trouble-shooting, so this one was driving me nuts! thanks again
