Illustrator CS2 does not open first time 1

After booting my PC, when I o to start Illustrator CS2, I get a message that it can't complete the opeartion. After this happens the program starts OK when I click the icon.
Any idea why this happens. Always on the first time - After that it starts without a hitch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mendo:

This happens if you either have too many fonts active, or there's a corrupt font in the bunch. I've had this happen ever since I got CS (I KNOW I have too many fonts and that's why...), and it's a bit annoying but it always works on the second try so I'm not losing sleep over it. There's no apparent damage being done as a result, so why worry?
