I am trying to install Illustrator CS on a XP machine with SP2. The software came with the Creative Suite. First when I installed Creative Suite all of my programs (Indesign, Photoshop) showed up in "programs", however Illustrator did not, so I copied a shortcut of it into "Programs". However, when running Illustrator I was having problems so I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it without uninstalling the rest of the Creative Suite Programs. Illustrator didn't reinstall itself when I tried reinstalling it, so I uninstalled the entire Creative Suite. But now that I have it the entire Creative Suite uninstalled none of the programs will reinstall. It says that it's installed (because if you go to install the programs again, it says they are already there) Also, I might note that the shortcuts to the programs didn't delete themselves when I uninstalled the programs. I've now just ended up deleting them out of my quicklaunch. Any advice on how to get these programs installed???

I'm on a mac so can't help much, but you might have to manually uninstallsome of the items that CS installed - besides the apps. I also read that CS-windows requires Activation. I understand that if you do an Advanced uninstall you have to reactivate by calling Adobe.
