how can I copy attributes from one object to another.
i try to use my eyedropper, doesn't seem to be working.
i have inner and outer glows.
what is the easiest way.

hi kentucky...

...try the alt/option button and select the little circle on the layers palette, this circle will probably be filled in as it has effects applied to the object...

...then drag over to the target object (in the layers palette) and release over its little circle the appearances will now be transfered...

...hope this makes sense to you...

all the best!

...you should see a little plus symbol appear as you move your mouse to the target object...

...another one is to have "new art maintains appearance" active in the appearance palette. there is a small flyout window to enable this option or alternatively click the button at the bottom of the palette, it looks like three circles overlapping...

...this will preserve the last effects you used on an object and apply it to all newly created objects...
