Illustrator CS mac wont open

When I try to launch Illustrator it wont open and prompts me "the application unexpectingly closed". When the illustrator pop up comes up on the screen telling you what files are being loaded thats when the apllication cant follow through. It seems to have something to do with the fonts not being able to load. In the pop up it says that the fonts are loading but once it says "fonts loaded 70%" that's when it crashes. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

Try quitting and going to User/Library/Preferences and trash "com.adobe.illustrator.plist". Then see if it launches.

If you downloaded any osx updates, you could have some other problem. Soemtimes the updates interfere with certain apps. In that case it's usually easiest to reinstall the app.
