Illustrator CS keeps on crashing!!!!! Help!

I'm having this problem only when I simulatenously open two documents, and then I close one. Then Illy crashes.

Anyone else had this problem? I'm on a Mac with OS 10.3.5.

Any ideas on how to fix it?
