Hello all

We recently upgraded to Illustrator 10 on two MAC computers, one running OSX10.3.6 and one running OS9.1, the issue we are having is not soley related to either computer but happens with both, so we are assuming it is a problem in Illustrator 10. When we save any file to eps or pdf on either computer, the Quark 4.1 (on the OS9.1) will not get picture correctly. The files come in much larger then the orginal file size. Has anyone else had this happen? We are in the pre press area of our company and this is really taking up alot of our time having to send to the rip out of illustrator which isn't as stable as Quark on our systems. If anyone has any thoughts on this we would love to hear them.

Thank you for your time,
Michele

Have you tried saving down to a earlier version of Illustrator in 10, and then if you can open up the file in the version you saved down to. If you don't have a earlier version of Illustrator just try and place the Illus file that was saved down to a earlier version out of 10. I have seen something like this but it was Illus. PC 10 file being placed into a Mac document on a G5. (Don't ask)
