I am running a Fox26 Windows standalone program in a multi user configuration. The data and main executables are on one machine. The program runs okay on the local machine. However, quite often, when the other two machine try to access the data the above listed message appears. The other machines have the identical set of executables plus the ESL file. I have set the file value in the config.sys file on the main machine to 100 and it seem, I thought, as if this cured the problem. The message re-appeared. I have since set the file value in config.sys on one the other machines to 40. However, I do not know if this will help. All machine are running window 98.
Can any one tell me what causes this message and what I can do to eliminate the problem.
I don't have a solution for you, BigJ, but I have found that a corrupt index can cause this error message.
Robert Bradley

<a href= - Visual FoxPro Development
