I have already posted a thread like this. I am making a yearbook for my school, and the file I have saved in flash mx won't open. It causes an "illegal operation". The file size is 117 mb. I am only running about 128 mb of ram. When the program was smaller, it would open fine. Should I add more ram? I can't afford to lose all of my work that I have done.

Sounds like you might have a corrupted file on your hands.

Either way it might be an idea to burn the file to CD and see if it opens on another machine that has more RAM before you make the investment. A complete reinstall of MX may also be necessary. Slainte
