Illegal Operation caused by VFP

When running Visual FoxPro 5.0, I get the error message "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." When I select the Details button, I get the message "VFP caused an invalid page fault in DIBENG.DLL AT 0005:00002bd3."

Hi!

I recommend you to use service pack for VFP 5 to update it to VFP 5.0a. In addition, try to reinstall it or clean up registry settings for VFP.

Also, since that .DLL usually has to do with video, I'd make sure you've updated to the newest version of the video driver available for your graphics card / video chip set. Since many graphics drivers don't include a full implementation for all video resolutions / color depths, try the application at 640x480 in 256 colors, or use the default Microsoft VGA drivers. If possible, you may also want to try a different video card.
