A colleague is receiving the.....

Illegal circular USE: CSEventNotes

.....error message, whenever she opens her mail file or tries to delete a mail message.

She is using Notes Client 7 on a Domino 7 Server.

What could be causing this?

She most probably needs to simply Refresh the design of her mail file.

With the mail file selected (or opened), go to File/Database/Refresh Design, choose the mail server for template, and validate. Exit the mail and try again.

If a refresh is not sufficient, you may have to use the option Replace instead. Same mechanism for you, so nothing to worry about.

If neither solution works, check with the Domino administrator (a Fixup might be necessary).
