Trying to move a server certificate to a website on another server using the cert wizard in IIS6. Gettinig a "server execution failed" error message.

I am not on the server currently, am remoting in from home, if that may be a factor?

Any input is welcome.

I'm having the same problem. My work around was to terminal onto the source server and export the certificate including the public and private keys to a .pfx file. The I imported the file to the destination server.

There has been a change in DCOM security since W2K3 was released, (I think SP1 did it) which causes this wizard to fail.

Post back if you find the root cause.

Good Luck!

That is what I ended up doing as well. Seems that it's a little less of a hassle.
