IIS5.0 Stopping

Hello All,

I am running IIS 5.0 on a Windows 2000 Server. Everything runs fine for a few days but then the Internet and FTP sites become unaccessable. When I view these services in IIS they are running. But when I try to access the DNS name or the IP address for the web site the page cannot be found. Also, I cannot access the FTP site, it just hangs when I type ftp XXX.XX.XXX.XXX.

If I stop the service and try to re-start it I get a message that the service can not be started. The only way I can get the service to re-start properly is to re-boot the machine. This only delays the problem because after a few days I experience the same problem again.

I have got the same problem. If you resolved this problem, could you please tell me how?

Download the newest service pack. I had the same problem downloaded and reloaded the service pack and it working fine to this day.
