IIS - W#SVC - IUSR Logon failing

I am getting a W3SVC Event ID 100 error in my event viewer. It is stating that the IUSR password is bad and is preventing access to my default website. Actually I van get in if I use authenticaed access and provide a valid username and password. How do I sync up the IUSR password with IIS? Thanks for any suggestions!

1) Open IIS
2) Go to the properties of the virtual directory in question.
3) Directory Security Tab.
4) Anonymous access and authentication control --> Edit...
5) Authentication Methods (Anonymous access checked on) --> Edit...
6) Username: IUSR_<computerName>
7) Check the box that says that to Allow IIS to control password.
8) Ok, Apply.....good to go!
