I created a virtual directory that connects to share on another machine. I can view html files ok but when I try to view cold fusion(cfm) files it gives me a 404 file not found error. I have index.cfm set as a default document.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Thanks,
Dave

Not sure if I follow this:
The .cfm file is it running on your machine or the other machine? If the latter, maybe this is a dumb question but it must be asked, is CF Server running on that machine?

If CF Server is running, it will allow any .cfm pages to be displayed from the server it is running on.
