Group,
I'm having an issue with the IIS server starting. First notice the problem when trying to create a webproject in VS.Net and received errors about the web server not running ASP.NET version 1.1. This is odd since this pc has been running fine, creating and modifying web projects with no problems. I have finally drilled down to find that the IIS Server on this pc is not starting - when trying to start, I receive the error 1068, "The dependency service or group failed to start". After researching this error, I'm convincing myself that I need to uninstall & reinstall the IIS server. So my question is, since VS.NET is already installed on this pc, do I need to also remove VS.NET OR can I just uninstall & reinstall the IIS. It seems to me there are issues when one tries to install IIS after VS.Net is already installed.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
