IIS stops when trying to call a .dll 1

When browsing through asp pages, everything is fine. The problem is that anytime I need to go to a dll file, i'm getting dr. watson errors and the system event log is going crazy with w3svc errors. Not only that, but the default website in iis stops and occasionally the service stops on me. Any ideas? [sig][/sig]
