hi all,

i have a webserver setup and working except for SMTP. i was getting an error " the drop directory, for * could not be created" which i have re-installed IIS because of as per Q288538

my issue is that iis is installed on a workgroup, is it possible to use smtp in this configuration? how do i get around the mail@domain.com structure if my server is just servername from workgroupname? i am convinced the server is working correctly.



please help
