Hi all,

I have set up IIS since I'm making some asp-pages and need to test them on my PC. It used to work fine but now I can load 2 or 3 pages and after that all asp-pages take hours to load. Do you have any idea what can be the reason for this?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Greetz,

Dirk

the error I get after a while is the following:

The page cannot be displayed
There are too many people accessing the Web site at this time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Open the localhost home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
HTTP 403.9 - Access Forbidden: Too many users are connected
Internet Information Services

However I'm the only one accessing the website...
According to Microsoft you have to change the number of users accessing the website but I don't seem to have that option...the only option I can change is the connection time out. I don't see anyware where I can change the number of users. I use IIS 5.1

Any idea?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Greetz,

Dirk

I bet you are using win 2000. I had the same trouble untill I upgraded to 2000 server. IIS included with 2000 pro has a limit of 10 concurrent users and you cant change that. The server version is unlimited. What you can do is uncheck HTTP Keepalive and that will end your sessions faster. It worked for me! Good luck )
