Dear sir or madam,

I need to setup IIS timeout when the webpage is in idle for more than 30 sec to timeout. WOuld you please advice how to do it.

Regards,

Jimmy

Dear Jimmy,

There are 3 types of timeouts you can set in IIS. one is "Connection timeout" which you get from the Website tab of your IIS properties.

Second and Third ones are "Session timeout" and "ASP Script timeout" which you get by clicking Home directory --> configuration of IIS properties.

It looks like in your case your need to set up connection timeout.

Hope this reply helps you.

Regards,

Pankaj
