Hi,
I have a user who updates our webpage using frontpage2000. While he can access our webpage from off site he is unable to save his changes. Is this a rights problem or a configuration problem with IIS? Thanx

Sounds like a permission problem.

Make sure that the user that he is logging into FP with has Write permissions on your home directory.

When you create a site in IIS and then configure server extensions for that site, it creates 3 groups:

domain.com Admins
domain.com Authors
domain.com Browsers

Where domain.com is the description of your web server that you set in the configuration for the server extensions.

If you go to the web server properties, and click on the Operators tab, and Add domain.com Admins as an operator for the web site, it should add the appropriate permissions.
You may need to stop and start the web server after doing this.

Gerald
