Hi all,

I have a few strange things happening with IIS.

The default website works ok. I can drop in a test.html page and get it on
However OWA is not working which also works through the default website. You can get the page but you get a certificate warning and none of the graphics load.

Also the company website does not work at all, you can't anything served at all, not even a test.html.

Any ideas what is wrong???

Thanks in advance.

I have some further information.

After a server reboot I now get:

1) OWA still has no graphics showing
2) Companyweb gives this error:
Cannot connect to the configuration database. For tips on troubleshooting this error, search for article 823287 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at
I do some questions that I hope someone can help me with:

This is a Windows 2003 for SBS

1) Should I have a service for MSLSQL$Sharepoint or something along them line?
2) I don't appear to have a MSSQL Server service either, is this required for Sharepoint services?

Thanks.

Now making progress, here is where I am at:

1) OWA now working!!
2) Still no company web. In the event log I get:

#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on SERVER\SharePoint. Check the database connection information and make sure that the database server is running.

I personally think this is becase there is no MSSQL Sharepoint service running - can anyone confirm this??

Thanks.

Gavin.
