Hi all,

IIS won't created logs for our site. I've checked the properties for the site in IIS and enable logging is ticked on the website tab, it is set to log daily and all the extended logging options are ticked. The log visits box is also ticked on the home directory tab.

I've checked the location where the logs are supposed to be created but there is nothing there in the folder since last year sometime.

We did upgrade our servers around the time the logs stop - and I am wondering if the logs could be stopped as a result of something done during the hardening process?? Anyone any ideas??

Thanks

Avril.

Think I figured it out - eventually tracked down an old event viewer message (event 15006 ) - to do with the owner of the directory in which the logs were to go, being invalid. I changed the owner and it looks like it is now logging.

Maybe this will be of use to someone else.

Thanks

Avril.
