I am attempting to run an ASP.Net applicaiton from a windows 2000 server runing II5 with service pack3 and .Net framework installed with the source files stored on a Network Attached Storage device. My sites that are just simple HTML and ASP work fine with source files on the NAS, but the .Net files report security errors.

Has anoyone been able to do this?

We also tried placing the source files on a second Windows 2000 server and allow Everyone Full Control to the share that the source files were copied to. That did not help.

We even tried mapping a drive letter to the share where the files are located. That still did not solve the problem.

The only way we have been able to run as ASP.Net application is with the files installed locally on the server.

Any advice will be appreciated.
