NT Networker 5.5.1
Tape Server: Nt 4.0 enterprise w/ sp6a
Has anyone had any issues using the IIS lockdown tool and the Microsoft Security rollup package with legato Networker?
We installed these patches on our DMZ servers ( all running nt 4.0 enterprise w/ sp6a) last week and know we are having some issues with the backup on these servers. We also set the following services to manual on the servers: Alerter, messenger, simple tcp/ip, spooler, smnp and windown time service.
Issue:
In administrator, during our daily incrental backups, we get the following message:
* Servername:REPAIRDISK:\ 1 retry attempted
* Servername:REPAIRDISK:\ 11/27/01 17:44:33 nsrexec: Attempting a kill on remote save
* Servername:REPAIRDISK:\ aborted due to inactivity
In the Administrator gui this is the only thing that shows that it is failing. The daemon log shows that it was backed up successfully twice.
On full backups, the server will complete the backup, timeout, backup the data again, then will show that it failed in the admin gui.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks, Eric
