I'm having a problem getting Outlook web access (OWA) to load using IIS 5.0 and Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000 server with SP4.

On the properties -> Directory security page for the Exchange virtual directory in IIS If "Integrated windows authentication"
is ticked then when I try to browse the site i.e. or then i get a "This page cannot be displayed" error.
If "Integrated windows authentication" is unticked leaving "Basic authentication" ticked then OWA works.

I'm not going through any proxies or firewalls.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If "Integrated windows authentication" is unticked leaving "Basic authentication" ticked then OWA works.
That is the way OWA is designed. Think about it for a second; OWA is for web access, so the user's computer (usually their home PC) would have a computer account on your AD Domain. Therefore Integrated Authentication would not work. So, you would set up OWA access with basic authentication configured, the you would use SSL (https:// port 443) to potect the username and password over the internet.
