Hello all,
Hoping to get some advice/assisatance from all of you. I currently have IIS running on Win 2k pro. My understaing that it only allows 10 connections. I have several asp pages that i am running using this. I have about 300 employess connected to the local intranet who access this pages so you can imagine how ineffective this is. Any way, I got a hold of a Dell server machine that we are no longer using and it has Win NT server as the os. My question is this, since it is a server, do I need to install IIS on it like I did on the W2K or is it already on it. If it is already on it, do I just use to go to a page. Will this support php pages or will I have to install any thing for that.

Any comments, suggetions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You'll need to install IIS for it to serve pages. I'm not sure if anyone wrote php support for IIS 4. It definely doen't support php nativly.

You may need to install a different web server for it to work. You may want to look at upgrading to at least Windows 2000 (if the hardware is supported) as that will give you a lot more options.
