IIS, FrontPage, and Remote Share

Has anyone configured FrontPage 98/2000 Server Extensions on a remote share?<br>

Microsoft says it is impossible, but I would like to believe it is possible.<br>

I will be using a Network Appliance ( which can simulate NTFS, NFS, and CIFS.<br>

My thoughts were to grab the sid for the IUSR and apply to the NetApp, so the PDC would recognize the IUSR as the same member of the domain.<br>

Any thoughts or resolutions?
