Hi, if you have deleted the 'Default Web Site' from IIS on a Windows 2000 Server (the Default Web Site that you have when you first install IIS, rather than a web site that you have assigned to be the default..), can you restore/rebuild it?

Thanks,

Age.

Just right click and choose New Website. Give it any name you want.

What makes it the default is that it is assigned port 80 right off the bat. You could make any site the default by changing the port. The site name of Default Web Site is irrelevant.

I hope you find this post helpful. Please let me know if it was.

Regards,

Mark
