Hi All,
I have a Windows 2000 server and it crashed. I hot swapped the bad hd with no problem, or so I thought..smile. I had to re-install IIS. I need to re-configure it, but I can't remember how it was set up. I use the configuration to offer a shared folder on the C drive of the server for users at three different offices to share and save documents and calendars. They have a shortcut on their desktops at the remote locations:\\routerIP\lotus\work, which enables the remote sites to get to the server at the home site. Now it shows that the link is unavailable. There are pinholes in the home router for 135, 137 and 445. Internally, there are no problems. I have anoymous log in with user name and password credentials. I can't get in remotely with the shortcut or mapping. No error, but it keeps repeating the user name and password screen, like it's not getting to the server. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Best Regards,
Don
